Samantha L Collings, Canada

Samantha is a current Master's student at the University of Western Ontario in the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Department. Currently, she works in the Min Lab co-supervised by Dr. Weiping Min and Dr. Xiufen Zheng on a heterotopic heart transplantation project in mice. She is interested in further analyzing the patho-mechanism of cardiac ischemia-reperfusion injury, as well as in-vivo transplant research recapituation. Outside of her current project, Samantha's research interests are in developing cardioplegic solutions, biomarker development and histopathology.
